Answers in the language the question was asked in
NOVA recognises which language a question is asked in and answers in the same language – even if your website only exists in German. NOVA works with the content of the site it is embedded in. There is no fixed language list, nothing to enable and no second version of your content to maintain.
A German website, answers in every language
Anyone with international customers knows the problem: the website exists in German and perhaps in English, but the enquiries come in every conceivable language. Anyone who finds no answer in their language leaves – and usually does not get in touch through a form either.
NOVA works with the content of the website it is embedded in – the same texts your visitors could read themselves. It recognises the language of the question and answers in it, regardless of which language those texts are written in. For the visitor it feels as though the site exists in their language – without you actually having to translate it.
There is no fixed language list. The ones our customers ask for most often are: GermanEnglishFrenchSpanishItalianDutchPolishDanishSwedishPortugueseCzechRomanianTurkishRussianUkrainianArabicChinese These are examples, not a limit – people ask in whatever language they bring with them.
What matters is the effort behind it – namely none: you still only maintain your website. If an opening time, a service or a price changes, you change it where you would change it anyway, and it applies in every language. There is no second body of data that could drift apart, and no translations for anyone to keep up with.
What it delivers
Anyone who gets an answer in their language stays – instead of leaving the site again.
The basis is your website. What you change there applies in every language.
Enquiries from other time zones get an answer immediately instead of an out-of-office notice.
No translation project for the whole website just to be able to give information.
Multilingual chatbot for your website – who it pays off for
Tourism, hospitality, culture: guests come from abroad, research in advance and ask the same questions again and again about getting there, opening times and accessibility – often not in German.
Retail and shipping: anyone selling across borders gets questions about shipping costs, delivery times and returns in the customer's language. An answer in the chat is cheaper than an abandoned order.
Education, public administration and social services: here multilingualism is often not optional but a duty. A chatbot that gives information in the language of the person asking lowers the barrier noticeably – without the website having to be maintained in five languages.
Companies with international applicants: career pages benefit too when questions about recognition of qualifications, visas or the application process are answered without a language barrier.
In all four cases the same arithmetic applies: a multilingual website costs translation and ongoing maintenance per language. A multilingual chatbot costs neither – and additionally covers the languages for which a translation would never have paid off. How NOVA works overall is set out on the NOVA overview page.
Your website remains the basis: NOVA answers with what is on your site. Anything missing, ambiguous or outdated there cannot be answered correctly in translation either – we cannot guarantee factual accuracy.
Häufige Fragen
Which languages does NOVA support?
NOVA is not tied to a fixed list and answers in the language it is asked in. In practice it is usually English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Danish, Swedish, Portuguese, Czech, Romanian, Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic or Chinese – but that list is a selection, not a boundary.
Do I have to enable languages in advance?
No. There is no language setting for you to maintain and no language choice for your visitors to make. NOVA follows the question that was asked.
Do I have to have my website translated?
No. That is precisely the point: NOVA works with the content of your existing site and still answers in the language of the question. A German website can serve Spanish or Turkish visitors this way.
Where does NOVA take its answers from?
From the content of the website it is embedded in – the same texts your visitors could read themselves. NOVA invents nothing and reaches for no external sources.
Do I have to maintain the content per language?
No. There is no second body of data alongside your website. What you change there applies immediately in every language.
How does NOVA know which language is meant?
From the question itself. Write in French and you get a French answer – without anyone having to choose a language first.
What happens with a question NOVA cannot answer?
Then NOVA says so instead of guessing, and points to your contact route. If the answer is not on your site, it will not be invented. That applies equally in every language.
