In a startup there is always something to learn. New goals to reach, new challenges to master. But how do you best go about it? Where do you get dependable expert knowledge, support and help, and the indispensable contacts? Our recommendation: take part in an accelerator programme. Having already gathered invaluable experience at the Lübeck accelerator programme Gateway49, we have now succeeded in joining the 2024 summer batch of the AI.STARTUP.HUB Hamburg.
The AI.STARTUP.HUB offers current and aspiring AI founders and their teams excellent support at every stage of development. From finding an idea to going international, every team has the chance to learn from the best in the field.
To do justice to as many teams and stages as possible, the AI.STARTUP.HUB offers two different programmes: the AI Accelerator programme for startups already founded, and the AI Ideation programme for teams that want to found successfully and bring an innovative idea with them.
For anyone ready to get involved and develop, the AI.STARTUP.HUB Hamburg is a safe harbour. The hub is a joint project of Hamburg Innovation GmbH and the Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) e. V., implemented together with the partners Exponential Innovation Institute (Exii), Machine Learning in Engineering (MLE) at Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) and German Entrepreneurship. That much concentrated know-how in one format is a stroke of luck for any startup.
Besides the coaching and mentoring, one factor was particularly decisive for us in taking part: the exchange with other teams in the field. It is easy to underestimate how valuable it is to look beyond your own horizon. That is why we are especially looking forward to sharing both our successes and our failures with the other teams, and so learning from and with one another.
With the kick-off on 9 April at the new location on Sandtorkai in Hamburg, our six-month journey has now begun. It was a fitting start, with 17 exciting pitches in an incredibly relaxed and constructive atmosphere. We are delighted with the other teams and the mentors, and very proud of this further milestone on our way.
