I'm Heinke and, as the name might give away, I grew up between the North Sea and the Baltic. After studying and doing a PhD in biology, IT caught me. And that's a good thing.
I take care of quality management and data protection. That means I'm the one asking the awkward questions before anyone else does – so that in the end, everything stacks up.
I was looking for a place where data protection isn't an add-on but is baked in from the start. Splitbot found me. Or I found Splitbot, depending on how you look at it.
When the monitor is off, I'm in the garden, with family and friends, or doing voluntary work. Earth under my fingernails is the best antidote to a screen-based day. Ideally, I'd be doing all of it at once.
Definitely Laureline from Valerian & Laureline. Clever, pragmatic and with a clear moral compass, even when things get turbulent around her. Sounds like a solid plan.
At Splitbot, open source and data security aren't seen as a necessary evil but as the foundation. AI is thought about here in a way that builds trust rather than uncertainty. And a community that shares that mindset is what makes the real difference.
