Sören Molkentin
Moin, I'm Sören – born in Kiel and by now clearly a Lübeck local by choice. As long as the sea isn't far, I'm happy. IT and computers have been my thing since I was little, and with my training as an IT specialist for application development I turned that passion into my profession.
My deepest experience is in backend development, so I'm responsible for the invisible magic behind the scenes. After a little detour into web development, I'm now ready for the frontend too.
After finishing my training, I was looking for the right place to step into the real, big IT world. Splitbot was young, innovative and full of drive. A match made in heaven.
Beyond computers and video games, I'm above all a passionate football fan. And whenever writer's block lets me, I also enjoy typing out a few pages of my own.
Starlord from Guardians Of The Galaxy comes to mind. Sometimes a loudmouth, but always up for a laugh – and with his heart in the right place.
There's no fear here of thinking in new ways or questioning the established. On top of that, I'm fully in sync – not only with the focus on sustainability and data security, but also with my wonderful team.
